Dreamhouse Guest House - Hout Bay

Its king room was beautifully maintained with excellent breakfast as well as a view over the valley. Best possible and quiet location, the staff were OUTSTANDINGLY HELPFUL.

We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and instantly felt at ease. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious, with a amazing view. The breakfast spread was delicious, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was helpful and professional. we highly recommend this gem of a guesthouse.

No slight on the guest house but dining facilities in Simon's town are lacking (we had terrible service in the seaforth restaurant nr boulders beach)

We have travelled a lot and seen many types of accomodations, but Dreamhouse personnel offered us the best service ever! The owners and staff are the most friendly and sincere people, and for sure make you feel as cosy as possible during your stay. They have two pools and a beautiful garden, many spots with sunbeds where you can relax. The breakfast is also propably the best breakfast we've ever had and the breakfast room has amazing views to the ocean. We stayed in a room with our own patio. The room was quite small and the patio was towards the bushes, but despite of that we have nothing bad to say about this place. Amazing!

The garden is not the safest place for curious little children (ours is 1 year old), because it has many steps and levels that don't have fences or railings. But if you don't let them walk around alone there's no worries.

We had an incredible experience at this amazing property with its breathtaking location and stunning views. the rooms were absolutely amazing, providing comfort and luxury. the pool and grounds were fantastic, offering plenty of relaxation spots throughout the day. the staff, led by Ivanka, were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Finally, the breakfast was a treat, and we appreciated the efforts to maintain high standards. Cons: Nothing - everything was great! 😊.

Nothing not to like.

Comfy and very sleek room, exceptionally comfortable bed, free parking. Wide varieties of appetising food at breakfast. Location short walk to close to the beach and local attraction. Exceptional service at all times. Wonderful and charming staff, early check in...

The location is stunning, we would love to stay in the area again, the units are all uniquely and stylishly decorated.

Dreamhouse is a beautiful place with unbeatable sea view (sunrise and sunset!), very friendly and attentive staff, great hospitality. privat car parking space. rich, delicious breakfast. clean swimming pool, garden and lash surrounding. We'll be back!

The fact that the hostess went out of her way to make us feel at home and to resolve our accommodation issues

We didn't get the room we originally booked. The hostess told us that it was due to the fact that they were building, but she said something the next day that indicated that someone else was actually in the room. We had to move during our stay which was irritating.

The central heating and coffee/tea making machines in the superior double room were very convenient. the flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a nice touch. - the excellent service made the hotel a pleasant place to stay. - the location of Dreamhouse Guest House is stunning.

The location up in the hills was amazing, the place was clean, had high standards, and offered an excellent view.

The lush garden and two pools added to the beauty of the surroundings. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, surrounded by nature.

I had the most very nice view from my room at Dreamhouse Guest House. The sight of Houtbaai and the mountains was amazing. The room itself was spacious, beautifully adorned, and provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the staff were very good too ensure my stay was enjoyable. The delicious breakfast served on the terrace with fine views was the perfect start to my day. Breath-taking views, amazing breakfast and lovely staff. Efficiently run hotel with modern facilities and great pool area. Owners made us feel right at home and put thought and care into the beautiful B&B.
